Z-PEI 9085 is an aerospace-grade polymer, offering a strength-to-weight ratio similar to aluminum 6061. This filament is composed of a polyetherimide and polycarbonate copolymer blend. It demonstrates superior thermal properties and maintains its characteristics at temperatures up to 167 °C.

Z-PEI 9085 is distinguished by its exceptionally low FST (Flame, Smoke, Toxicity) properties, earning it a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, making it ideal for printing flame-retardant parts. With its certified flame resistance, Z-PEI 9085 is well-suited for creating ducting and panels in environments where low outgassing and minimal FST are crucial.
