The matte surface of Z-ABS material simplifies post-processing. It's adaptable for both chemical and mechanical treatments. For instance, acetone can be used to seamlessly combine larger components that were 3D printed individually.

This material is developed for Zortrax printers and is also compatible with other FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) 3D printers that can print 1.75 mm diameter filaments and support the necessary extrusion temperatures.

Z-ABS and Z-ABS 2
With both Z-ABS and Z-ABS 2 available in the Zortrax selection, it's important to identify the correct type by checking the material sticker on the spool. This ensures the selection of the appropriate printing profile. If you have .zcode or .zcodex files initially prepared for Z-ABS, they must be re-sliced using the Z-ABS 2 profile for accurate printing.
