Z-NYLON
PA 12 Material for FDM
Z-NYLON (PA 12) is a strong and durable 3D printing filament, offering resistance to high temperatures and a range of chemicals. Suitable for metal machining post-processing, this filament is tough and easily paintable. It can be dyed using standard acid-based clothing dyes.

Technical Specifications
This PA 12 filament is prone to rapid moisture absorption and should be kept in a waterproof bag with a desiccant. Being a nylon-based material, Z-NYLON experiences relatively high shrinkage, making it less suitable for 3D printing large geometrical shapes with sharp angles. To minimize shrinkage, using a HEPA Cover on the M Series Plus 3D printers is recommended.

This material is developed for Zortrax printers and is also compatible with other FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) 3D printers that can print 1.75 mm diameter filaments and support the necessary extrusion temperatures.
